1999 U.S. Road Trip

In September 1999, my husband and I spent a month traveling around the U.S. in our Silverado.  Behind our truck, we pulled our 1984 Terry Resort trailer which served as our "home away from home."  The green loop on the map above shows our path around the U.S.  We began the trip in Washington, D.C. on September 3, 1999 and trekked north westward towards Yellowstone N.P., Wyoming.  We then visited over ten national parks in Utah and Arizona before we began traveling eastward toward home.  Over 22 stops and 7,640 miles later, we arrived safe and sound at our home in Maryland on October 1st. The table below lists all the major stops along the trip.
